-let it be the sphere of child
-select effect at shader (surface): water, wood…

Cloner
-cube put inside to cloner
-make more cubes, setting at the count
-amount is change the distance between each cube
-s: size, r: rotate
-in obj mode: object
-Put the sphere in obj
-let the cube on the surface of sphere
-if the object already be the child, it already control by the null
(so can only changing at the null: effect )
-Select cloner first, and then choose the random in mograpgh, put random in the effectors
-parameter is set for the random
- The strength set to 0, become normal
-Not need add key frame, in effector, random mode: noise, it can be animate already (without add key frame)
-put the tube in cloner first then choose Step (like stare)
-Follow the graph in effector
-Target effector (always follow the target)
-if add cube into it and let it be the object/ effector, other small cube will follow it
-target: look at camera
-time: automatic set the key frame for animation (time, cloner-tube)
-Cloner- cube (choose grid array at object)
-Put the torus inside volume object; add volume (volume, torus, cloner-cube) = to influent
- (spline, n-side, cloner-cube)
-Make a star (star, spline, each one? put into sphere)
- (random and shader can play in the same time, cloner-cube)
-Circle, sweep-rectangle, text                         -sweep put into cloner, rectangle and text put into sweep


3D ANIMATION WEEK 4 - SLPINE & GENERATOR

Spline line has no 3D depth, doesn’t show after render
B-spline : automatically creates curve with 3 points
White starting point, blue ending point. Sequence can be reversed – right click
Better to draw spline from top view
Cubic spline automatically curves with two points

PRIMITIVE SPLINE
-          Play with options in OBJECT section
-          Change TEXT under OBJECT PROPERTIES
-          Cogwheel similar to gear shape

HOW TO MANIPULATE SPLINE
-          Use live selection/others to select point
-          Points selected can be scaled, rotated, etc.
-          Right click, soft interpolation: make point able to curve
-          Use move tool to move handle for points (curves)
-          Ctrl + click -  add more point (must use move tool)
-          Use CHAMFER – make points of a square rounded, use radius at attribute manager to adjust curve of points
-          Cant see after render, use with EXTRUDE. Click spline and drop under extrude later. Can see shape after render


IMPORTING AI SPLINE TO CINEMA 4D
-          Create shape as pen tool, file, save as, set version to Illustrator 8
-          File, open, import ai file, ok, extrude

GENERATOR
-          Use other objects to generate a surface e.g. spline
-          Extrude spline of object to create depth (extrude: parent
-          Can create hole
-          Two circles
-          Extrude can only read one layer
-          Make editable – select both circles - connect object and delete
-          Drag and drop inside extrude
-          Hole in centre woo
-          Cap option, start end ada cap option
-          Fillet cap: edges more rounder
-          Fillet type can be altered

-          SWEEP object
-          Requires 2 spline
-          Cross section first layer (circle)
-          Path second layer (helix)
-          Cross section will sweep along the path
-          Can animate, use object>end growth / start growth
-          Object , details, can adjust scale and rotation, ctrl click to add point

-          LATHE object
-          Start from right view
-          Use Bezier as a pen tool and draw outline/thickness of wine glass
-          Will evolve 360 degrees to become a shape
-          Can use selection tool to change points, thus changing shape of object

-          SUBDIVISION object

-          Smooths out the edge, reduce polygon

-          Same results as when adding fillet/segments etc


-          LOFT object
-          Combining three or more splines as radius outline
-          Rotate P=90degrees
-          Caps
-          Take out all spline from loft to see outline
